Plucky Pictures & A Thank-you!

A big Plucky thank-you to Pam, and her crew of Plucky Maiden's for putting on another great show. It is always a great day when I get to hang with my besties from A Vintage Gathering group. And of course it would not be possible without all you wonderful customers that keep us striving for bigger and better! Plus, I just LOVE doing what I do, and I'll keep following my passion, until I can go no more. Is that possible?! This is a picture of my space with my sister, Jeanna, and her daughter, Shelby.
Jeanna, and Shelby of Rustoration. Jeanna has only been doing this a few years now, and she has a really great eye for interesting things. I love what she always brings to the flea. Shelby has really got into jewelry making, and it is hard to believe she is only 16 years old, and my very talented niece!
Cher of Voondi always keep us smiling!
Sue of Birdsong, and her equally talented boyfriend Phil. Phil has been making rustic furniture from  reclaimed wood, and it is beautiful! I think Phil is really getting into this business
Sarah, of Roost was my neighbor on the other side of the street. It was great to look at all her beautiful eye candy all day long! I finally caved in, and bought one of her great pillows, that she and her mom make.
Annette of Andy's Attic, and MaryJo of Faded Rosie. MaryJo made me the cutest purse to use for the show! It got alot of compliments! And yes, she does take orders for them.

Locked & Loaded & Ready For Plucky!

Just a few sneak peeks of what are heading over to the Plucky Maiden Flea Market this weekend. The pre-fest begins Friday night at 5pm-8pm, and continues on Saturday at 10am-4pm. We would love to see you all there! I will be vendor #36, right in between my sister, Jeanna of "Rustoration", and Sue from "Bird Song". They both have the bestest stuff! And as it turns out, you will also see more familiar faces from A Vintage Gathering Flea Market on our street.

Mr. Frog was the last thing to be loaded, so I had to snap a picture of him. He is ready to party!

Go Big Or Go Home!

Hello there, my friends! I guess it's been awhile since I have done a post.......so sorry! So, what's new?! Joanne, at Camas Antiques called me, and offered me a bigger space, and of course I had to jump on that bandwagon. Bigger is better, right? No pressure........keeping my new bigger and better space full, and tidy. Yeah, I can do that!

This awesome windmill that I just took in, would not had fit in my smaller space. It has been spinning all winter long in my back yard just waiting for it's spring debut. Today is the last day of the birthday bash at Camas Antiques, and all the dealers are having sales. I have 10% off of everything in my space.

I also just took in this metal industrial cart last week. I found it in an old barn, and I think it would make a fun bar on wheels! I don't buy anything, that I don't love myself, and I am loving it!

I also still have my primitive work table with the two vises on it. I'm not really too much in a hurry to sell it, because it is such a great display piece. The shelf that I have on it, seems to match it perfectly.

St. Francis is in the house!

Do you ever have a piece of furniture that just won't sell? I have had this adorable old Victorian half chest forever! It is in perfect shape, and I just don't get it! I just reduced the price to $52, so I just want it gone! If someone were to buy it today, it would be another 10% off. Anyone?............ On another note, I have also been busy getting ready the Plucky Maiden flea market in just 27 days! My sister will selling in her own space right next to me, and I tell you what! She has some great stuff! Her and I were the only two at a big ol' barn sale last weekend, and we could hardly contain our excitement! We were like kids in a candy store! She was gawking at my pile (sorry, I got there first!), and I was drooling over her pile. Yes, we were in farm junk heaven! I even found a mid-century tulip chair sitting in the loft of the barn. Who woulda thunk?! I love my job!

New Adventures For 2012

I know Christmas was almost a month ago, but I am just getting my Christmas things put away. As soon as Christmas was over, I have been off and running getting ready for some new adventures.

Goodbye Jesus Family. I look forward to seeing you next year at Christmas time. You mean the world to me.

Due to an overstock of "stuff", I have decided to take on another space at Camas Antiques. My biggest and bestest piece is this very cool primitive work bench. The possibilities are endless with this wonderful piece. I brought this home, (hanging out the end of my Nissan Xterra), and my husband thought it would be great for the garage. Umm, I don't think so! I envision it as a kitchen island, or maybe as a dining room buffet table. It has two working vises on it, and the board in the back opens up for storage. That was probably where they kept their tools.

So, my new space at Camas is on the top floor, all the way to the back, in a room all to myself. I am really loving it! I always have alot of "inventory", so there is no problem in keeping this room plum full. So far, business has been very well, and I have restocked three times, since the move in day on Jan 2nd. Thank-you!, Thank-you!

While Camas Antiques, and my space at Uncovered Ruby's has kept me busy, I have also been trying to get ready for the Junk Salvation flea market coming up. The date is Feb. 3rd, and Feb. 4th. That is right around the corner! I was a shopper last year at this flea market, and let me just say, it was amazing! There are so many talented dealers there, and I am so excited to join in on their party! I hope you get a chance to come out and see us!

One last shot of my room in Camas Antiques. Be sure and come out for a visit!
